Five days walking in the spectacular Alto Adige Dolomites, from the Val Casies on the Austrian border to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo area, ending in Prato Piazza, and including a Via Ferrata to the summit of Monte Paterno.

Itinerary
Day 1/ Arrival in the Val Casies
Arrival in Alto Adige. Dinner and overnight in the Val Casies.
Day 2/ Santa Maddalena to Corno di Fana
Today’s walk ascends to a high plateau, then follows the “Alta Via Bonn” through Alpine meadows and along a ridge with wide-ranging views, before descending to the refuge where we spend the night.
Day 3/ Val di Dentro to Tre Cime
We walk down into the valley towards Dobbiaco, then transfer by vehicle to the Val di Dentro, from where we ascend on foot to the Tre Cime di Lavaredo area.
Day 4/ Monte Paterno Via Ferrata and Prato Piazza
This morning we climb to the summit of Monte Paterno by Via Ferrata. Our descent includes stretches in World War I tunnels. Transfer by vehicle to Prato Piazza.
Day 5/ Picco di Vallandro walk
Today’s walk ascends the breathtaking Picco di Vallandro. Anyone preferring not to walk can enjoy a full day at leisure taking in the spectacular scenery of the Croda Rossa and Prato Piazza and relax in the hotel’s surrounds and Spa.
Day 6/ Departure
Departure and onward travel.
