Itinerary

Day 1/ Arrival in Tuscany

Check-in at Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco.

Day 2/ Castiglion del Bosco to Montalcino and Sant'Antimo

This morning we’ll walk from Castiglion del Bosco to the medieval hilltop town of Montalcino across classic southern Tuscan landscapes of forests and vineyards. After a light lunch in Montalcino, you can choose to either transfer back to the hotel for some downtime or else continue walking to the stunning 12th Century Abbey of Sant’ Antimo.

Day 3/ Sant'Antimo to Bagno Vignoni

Today's walking route will pick up the trail where we left off yesterday. After transferring to the Abbey of Sant' Antimo, we’ll walk on to the town of Bagno Vignoni, stopping for a packed lunch along the way. The route goes via scenic Brunello vineyards, olive groves and oak forests, passing the impressive medieval castle of Ripa d’Orcia en route.
