Itinerary

Day 1/ Arrival in Elba

Overnight in Sant'Andrea.

Day 2/ Monte Capanne walk

Today’s walk ascends from Poggio to the summit of Monte Capanne, 1019m above sea level (weather permitting). We descend to Marciana for lunch. In the afternoon an optional walk continues down to the coast on a footpath back to our hotel.

Day 3/ Pomonte

From Sant’Andrea we climb via Zanca to Madonna del Monte and then follow a track contouring the island’s wild western slope and down to the sea at Pomonte.

Day 4/ Embark and sail to Capraia

Morning walk from Sant’Andrea to Marciana Marina port where we embark on our private skippered yacht (a 16 meter Dufour 525gl with 3 cabins and 2 bathrooms), and then sail to the island of Capraia.

Day 5/ Explore Capraia island

Full day to explore Capraia’s spectacular sea-and-landscapes by boat and on foot.

Day 6/ Departure

Morning departure by boat for the return crossing from Capraia back to the Tuscan mainland.
